Staying at Yallingup Forest Resort you're neatly nestled in the tranquil forest between some of the world's greatest surf breaks on one side and Geographe Bay on the other. And yes, you can watch the whales breaching as the sun rises and later the same day, dolphins surfing the waves as the sun sets! It's a special place...
The Margaret River region, as a whole, has become a world renowned tourism mecca. The region is full of natural wonders, beaches, wineries, surfing spots and eco-attractions that are scattered along the Geographe Bay and to the south.
Visitors originally came to the region for the caves, then for the vineyards, next up came the surfers and now a whole plethora of attractions cater to a diverse mix of guests from around the globe.
The rugged coastline to the west and the north facing Geographe Bay are both graced by whales migrating south from September to December - we'll share some great look-out spots with you.
