TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It is a prerequisite for all guests staying at Yallingup Forest Resort to agree to behave appropriately for the enjoyment of all other current and future guests. The person making the booking is responsible for the behaviour of all guests in their party.

COVID Cancellation Policy

If cancellation of booking is made more than 14 days of booking date a full refund will be offered if paid. If cancellation of booking is made less than 14 days of booking date we do not refund for restrictions or if you personally have to self-isolate. A credit note will be offered for use in the future.

No Deposit

No deposit is required when making your booking.

Payment

Payment for your stay will be taken 14 days prior to your check in date from the credit card that you submit with your booking. If a cancellation is made within 7 days of your check in date the full tariff will be charged.

Check in

Please note that check-in time is from 2pm and that reception closes at 5pm. If you choose a more leisurely route down south and arrive later than 5pm your key will be left outside of the reception office in a clearly marked envelope.

Check out

Check out time is before 10am on departure day. A late checkout fee of $50 will apply if a chalet is not vacated prior to the arranged check-out time. (This charge covers the cost of paying a waiting cleaner).

Smoking

All chalets are strictly non-smoking. Smoking inside a chalet automatically incurs a $500 additional cleaning charge to cover dry cleaning of carpets and furnishing. Please empty ashtray into outside bin on departure.

Pets

Unfortunately pets are not permitted at the resort.

Lost Property

Items found on departure will be kept for four weeks and then disposed of / given to charity unless other arrangements have been made by the owner to recover the item(s).

Damage

The person making the booking is responsible for the behaviour of all guests in their party. Wilful and neglectful damages will be the liability of the person making the booking and will be charged for appropriately.

Cleanliness

Your chalet will be clean upon your arrival, chalets should be left as found. Please note that $50/hour will be charged for extraordinary cleaning.

Unaccompanied teens

All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Yallingup Forest Resort reserves the right to a) check ages and b) refuse bookings. During Leaver’s Week in Dunsborough leavers will be refused entry even if a parent is staying with them.

Noise / Parties

Yallingup Forest Resort offers guests peace and tranquillity in a bushland setting – it is not a party venue. Noise should be kept to a minimum and neighbours respected. All noise must cease by 10pm. Should our care-takers be called out in the event of a noise complaint after 10pm a $100 call out fee will be charged. For subsequent call outs or for any call outs after 12pm a $200 call out charge will be levied and the police notified.

Groups

Yallingup Forest Resort accepts group bookings. However, due to the greater risk of damage or irresponsible behaviour, a discretionary $250 refundable bond per chalet may be charged at the time of booking or on arrival for any group.

Inventory / Furniture

If you move inventory or furniture around this must be returned to its original location on departure otherwise additional cleaning fees will be incurred.

Loss of Chalet Key

In the unfortunate event that you lose your chalet key, it is a condition of the resort insurance policy that the chalet locks be changed. (This means 3-4 locks per chalet). A charge of $150 will be levied, which contributes towards the costs incurred.

Speed Limit

A speed limit of 20km applies around the resort to protect children and animals from injury.

By booking a stay or staying at Yallingup Forest Resort, the person making the booking agrees that any relevant costs as set out above can be taken from the supplied credit card upon due notice by Yallingup Forest Resort.
